HOME ABOUTOUS PRACTICEOAREAS ATTORNEY CONTACT

  Dear Prospective Client,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my website.  You have numerous options when it comes to hiring an attorney and I appreciate you spending some time here.  If you have been injured due to someone's carelessness or neglect it can be difficult to choose an attorney.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
      1.  YOU ARE A PERSON NOT A FILE.  I value every contact with a potential client as an opportunity to help a person in their time of need.  I bring to my law practice years of experience in mentoring youth and helping sick and troubled individuals through the church and other non-profit organizations.  I will value you as a person first and foremost as a PERSON.  You will be able to TRUST that I am looking out for what is best for you as I provide excellent legal services.  Despite having excellent staff, I handle all client communications and every client has my personal cell phone number.

2.  SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.  Since becoming an attorney in 2012  I have worked exclusively in personal injury and workers compensation.  Most of my business comes from other experienced lawyers asking me to work on their cases with them.  In 7 years of practicing law I have recovered over $10,000,000 through settlements and trials and/or arbitrations.

The types of cases I have worked on in personal injury and workers compensation include:  bus accidents, construction negligence, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, personal injury law, railroad accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, negligent security, dram shop, motion practice, dog bites and slip and fall cases.  I was selected as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2014 through 2019 an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of lawyers in Illinois  I was first selected only a few months after my first full year practicing law and have been selected as an Illinois Super Lawyer Rising Star every year since.

.  A FIERCE ADVOCATE.  Working my way through college, I worked as a janitor, a carpenter and a factory worker among other jobs.  I understand first-hand the dangers in working those jobs.  I also developed a strong work ethic and unwillingness to give up or back down.  If there is no recovery, then I do not collect a fee.  I work with numerous law firms and am often asked to help with cases dealing complex legal issues and litigation obstacles.  Call me today to talk about your case.

Very truly yours,

Mark Whiteside
